Had booked an appointment to check out a used cx-50 but ended up waiting for over an hour before talking to a sales rep. I did get offered coffee but still the waiting sucked and I had to inquire about when I’d get served a couple times, reception wasn’t proactive in keeping me updated. apparently the rep I was initially booked with was with another customer and that was taking longer than expected which I can understand. But eventually we got tired of waiting and just requested to get connected with another rep and we got Peter Lahaie. Now Peter was a great guy and really went above and beyond in helping us out with the test drive, any questions we had, etc. Didn’t end up doing business there as they didn’t have the particular spec we wanted but Peter was really helpful with getting us all the info we needed and potential alternatives, etc. Peter himself gets a five star, would highly recommend working with him! However the long wait time and subpar reception put the overall experience at a3/5

So far, not so good. Poor. Communication upon new car delivery (2025 CX 70),a few weeks ago. Multiple delays/rescheduling for first day pickup. By 500km, the interior door latch failed, requiring service. I called ahead to schedule a service appointment. I checked if I could drop the vehicle off the evening before, and confirmed with service the time of closure (service closes at 1800, weekdays). I arrived at 1715--no customers were present. I waited approx 10 minutes before I was served. While I was in conversation with the service desk associate, he picked up the ringing phone while I was mid sentence, describing the matter at hand. The service associate then proceeded to have a conversation with the call-in customer for several minutes, before ending the call and returning to me. What's up with customer service these days? We just left the neighboring Volkswagen (2021 VW Golf R) for similar reasons. I sure hope this trend doesn't worsen. So far, not so good.
