This was a long overdue review for the bank street mazda dealership. Usually we less motivated to write positive reviews but in the context of our experience we had to write something positive it would be unjust if we didn't. We got a 2024 Jet Black Mica CX 50 GT Turbo from Bank Street Mazda in the end of November 2025. The car is a topper in terms of driving dynamics and overall features. It definitely punches above the rest in my opinion. And I am coming from a long time ownership experience of Lexus IS250. Mazdas are drivers' car. I don't think people would drive Toyotas and Hondas if they really gave Mazda a chance! Now let's talk about the dealership experience. We were in contact different dealerships in Ottawa and Montreal/Laval area to assess the options. Unfortunately we had the luck of checking out Levielle Mazda and had the worst experience of any experiences of our lives. The dealerships overall customer service and basic decency level was borderline criminal and demeaning. We were quickly reminded of the stories we had heard about the dealerships in the Quebec side and now had the first-hand experience of it by wasting time to drive 400 km. Just avoid them please!!! Dealing with Bank Street Mazda was shockingly opposite. The team in general was super friendly and really made us feel welcomed and respected. Especially, Zak who we primarily dealt with was breath of fresh air. A BIG SHOUT OUT TO ZAK!!! He is knowledgeable, genuine and a true gentleman. From the day I called him until he handed over the keys, he was never pushy or aggressive and gave us time to think about the options while being informative and encouraging. I bugged him numerous times even before we closed the deal but never once he was irritated or gave me any indication of if I really wanted to buy the car or not. The whole team over there seemed very well trained and had genuine warmth. It seemed this trickled down from the top management. I believe this is the reason we ended up getting the car from them. We got delivered the car exactly the way we wanted and all the promises they made were kept to the dot. Respect! I would highly recommend anyone to check them out before going anywhere else. Look for Zak and he will definitely take care of you. I can vouch for him. Kudos to the team. Keep spreading the good vibes!!! P.S. I forgot to mention Sally from the finance department. He was super resourceful, friendly and explained us all possible options of warranty packages and never pressured us to get any. We ended up taking one of them! That process went smooth as well.
